Lego

An afternoon spent building lego ships is never wasted.

Whilst this was going on I was fast asleep on the sofa, only to be woken by an almighty noise which made me think I was being shot at. Turned out it was the 15 minute firework display set off to mark the lightening up of Inverurie.

An hour of so later we wandered along to see the Christmas tree in the town square complete with it's lights and met the army of volunteers packing up the stalls and and tents which apparently had earlier hosted a 'lightening up extravaganza'. Just as well we made a good job of seeing all that on Friday!
