Oak Milk Cap?
GO LARGE.
It was good to have a day in the office today! From tomorrow I'm back out at various schools for the rest of the week .....
I grabbed the chance for a scout around County Hall grounds at lunch time and went to have a look at where the Blewitts were in profusion a few weeks ago. Sadly I found just 2 there, but loved the undulating cap on this one.
I've chosen these Oak Milk Caps (Lactarius quietus) for my blip though as it's a first for me. I'm almost certain that's what they are anyway - if I'm wrong and anyone would like to correct me, please do! I found a whole cluster of them near an Oak, so it seems right ...
