Cataracts

Yep- Joel has them
Today is surgery #1. The guy in the photo is my brother. He's the eye doc at this clinic and we are cracking up over his picture hanging outside the exam rooms. We're going to start calling him "Doc Hollywood".

Cataract surgery is the most consistently successful surgery done in this country. We are so grateful for this technology. A hundred years ago Joel would have been going blind. Literally.
