Winter Square

The new “civic space” just off the High St is slowly taking shape.

Sibbald Square, as it is known, opened some time ago and has been well used in the summer and at Festival time.

The winter is a different matter, not least because the north side of it is incomplete although the new building is taking shape, and tonight there was light coming from it. On the south and east there are also bar and restaurant premises about to be occupied which will produce a further transformation.
