Restraint

I saw this little sweetie on my walk today - what a peach!  It always seems a bit sad, such a beautiful animal restrained by such ugly bars, though in truth the fact that they are solid enough to be safe is perhaps the salient thing.

Apart from that, today was OG's monthly outing.  We had a lovely time with the other dear people and had homemade cakes rammed down us (well you have to be polite ;)).  Mine are sitting rather uncomfortably under my sternum, even though I only had salad for lunch.

Hazel is getting much better and has learned to take off her babygro.  This is helped by the fact she's chewed the front into ribbons.  Last night I got out the sewing machine and cobbled it together, wet saliva-y shreds included.  Not pretty, but hopefully it will keep her stitches in until Monday when we go back to the vet.
