Digging in the mud

My Achilles' tendon has been causing me a degree of grief these last few days; I blame Paris! Nevertheless, Mrs T and I managed a late afternoon walk along the estuary and much enjoyed watching the Curlews howking lugworms out of the mud and then walking down to the water's edge to wash them prior to swallowing them. Fastidious beasts, curlews!
