Fall

Walking to “work” in the old part of Alexandria, VA on a fine fall morning. Lots of these historic row houses have similar little fall displays on their doorsteps. Of course, because it’s a quaint, historic neighborhood, it has brick sidewalks. The winter frosts heave the sidewalks into humps and mounds, making it risky to admire the doorsteps while on the move. I stopped!
