Bank of Scotland, The Mound, Edinburgh

I love this building which is just off the Royal Mile and has a great setting, visible from many points in the city centre below. I took this picture from Waverley Bridge just outside the main railway station - I'd been there to pick up some rail tickets. I think it's a building that is probably better seen at night, although it's pretty impressive by daylight too. When Lloyds took over the Bank of Scotland I was afraid they might dispose of this building, but so far, so good. Mind you, if anyone else did purchase it, they would probably find it nearly impossible to do anything different with it.
