Back to blue skies today - but it was cold ...
After singing we walked for a while beside the river, at Levenhall Links. The path is on land reclaimed using ash from the power station at Cockenzie, in the days when it was still burning coal.
Now it's part of a nature reserve and the John Muir Way. It feels like it's miles from any where, yet the A1 and the East Coast Main Line both run very close by. Aren't we lucky to have wild places so easily accessible. You can get here on the No 26 bus ...
