Wet Sheep

Today we visited friends near Richmond Park in South London for lunch. We always enjoy their company but I knew it would take a couple of hours to get there and the same to get back, and the rest of the time would be spent eating and talking so there would be no time to take pictures. So before I went I took this shot from the bedroom window of the sheep in the field opposite. It was absolutely pouring with rain and the sheep stood in this position and stayed absolutely motionless for at least ten minutes that I saw, and probably much longer.

We've noticed that the black one seems to be looked up to as a leader; wherever he goes, the others follow. Like sheep.
