Canada Goose

This goose has a condition called angel wing. The deformed wing or wings develop during growth, resulting in one or both wings sticking out from the body. Angel wing is caused by a poor diet, high in proteins but low in vitamins and minerals. Feeding bread to wildfowl could well be part of the problem. 

The bird can’t fly but it can swim. It lives on the lake at Fairhaven and doesn’t have any predators.
