Woodland Impressions

Not to be defeated by a mere computer program(me) I persevered (see yesterday) and came up with this much more satisfactory (to me) result. It's all in the opacity of the layers as far as I can see, but the blending modes give scope for many different effects....and then you're off down the rabbit hole of Photoshop.
This image is a screenshot taken just after midnight on the 2nd to avoid violating blipfoto's rules. Don't say I'm not dedicated to "my art" (laughs).
