A Very Good Day
I met up with Colline in the city to grab food and catch up since she was in the area. It was really awesome. We got Arepa's from TopArepa. Best decision we made (considering we walked the entirety of the Bryant Park shops looking for food). Mine had pesto, feta cheese, and mushrooms while Colline got the basil, dried tomato and goat cheese Arepa. We sat down to watch people busting their ass at the ice skating rink when two guys approached us asking where they can get some hot coffee. I fell into their trap, of course, and they sat there talking to us for like 20 min. So naturally when they asked what we were doing I said we were on a date. Because we were. But they took it the wrong way. And so we played along. Hilarity ensued, and they definitely bought it. They didn't leave though and I thought I was actually going to have to makeout with Colline or something. Awk.
But we had a good laugh and they ended up leaving. Then I went shopping with my mom, Melanie, and Ethan. I got a really big orange comfy sweater from the Gap with a gift card I got for graduation. Went home and photographed our Christmas Tree that we went out to buy yesterday :)
I'm thankful for laughter, and family, and the warm fuzzy feeling I get around the holidays.
