Barnie’s and Belties

Or Barnacle Geese and Belted Galloways, or ‘Pied Beauty
(Gerard Manley Hopkins)! Walking this morning in the sun came across about a thousand Barnacle Geese grazing in the field, the cacophony of barks was incredible and good to hear. Loved the way the Belties were grazing in the neighbouring field. Everything was black and white, hence the reference to the Hopkins poem.
On return, enjoyed lunch in the garden.
