A red rose...

...I planted when Meg, Dog, died a few years ago. I first blipped it a few days ago when it flowered for the first time ever. So I thought I would Blip it for Flower Friday today.

It has a heavenly scent, and there are another 3 buds. I can see it from where I am sitting now on the couch by the window.

It is by a wooden bench I planted in memory of my long time companion, John, who died in 2009. There is a red heart with John and Meg’s names on the bench.

Cat, Popeye, and I sit on the bench when the sun rises (on fine days), and I have a coffee...
