Still Waters.

This morning we nipped out quite early and did a bit more Christmas shopping.
Back home. Made up a picnic and went off again seeking those elusive Waxwings. Still not found the feathery wee beggars!
Back home again and we took Chloe for a stroll along the canal again. The beeches are really showing off their best russet and gold now.
Tomorrow we have been promised(!!) high winds and heavy rain so that might be pretty much the end of those lovely leaves.
Now where did I put my waterproofs?
