The Bridge Inn, Peebles
A visit to Peebles this afternoon after a morning spent at Rosslyn Chapel which is not too far from Edinburgh.
I haven't been to Peebles for a number of years but after wandering this afternoon we decided a longer visit, that will include a walk along beside the River Tweed, was on the cards.
As we drove in to the town we spotted the metal sculpture of horse and rider. After parking the car we walked back to find out about the art work. It was created by blacksmith Kevin Paxton and erected in 2016 in recognition of Scott Brash, a local lad, now a world class showjumper and the proud owner of an Olympic Gold Medal.
