Teign Valley view

I was so glad that the weather was good today as I was leading a walk on Dartmoor.  It started from Castle Drogo then headed down to Fingle Bridge where we spotted a dipper.  Then it was up into the woods to Cranbrook Castle for lunch.  There were great views from here of Haytor in one direction and Yes Tor and Belstone Tor (I think) in the other.  This shot was taken on the way down to Fingle Bridge, you can even just make out Castle Drogo in the far distance if you look closely.  It was then an amble along the River Teign before heading up high again to return to our cars and a cup of tea.  A good energetic days walk on a beautiful sunny calm day.
