Liverpool

I got up early this morning ready to catch the train to Liverpool with my friend Jo. The weather was cold but beautiful and it was lovely to see the frosty fields from the train. When we arrived we went shopping, had a drink in Marks's and then bought sandwiches to eat by the Liver building. After lunch we walked around the docks and then did some more shopping. We saw a family from school, some people Jo knows and even one of Jo's university lecturers who taught her about 30 years ago. It's a small world!
We had a lovely day and a good laugh together. Nice to spend some time out before returning to work on Monday.
