Strawberries
My girls, they sure do love their strawberries, here they all are chopping them up, and there was little fingers gabbing them as quickly as they could. The pile getting smaller and smaller.
Miss Maddie today told miss Bailee to tip all her strawberry scented bubbles out onto the ground, and of course miss bailee did, all 1.5 litres. The ground smelled like strawberry fields. I am usually a mild tempered person, but I have notice lately girls have maybe need a bit of a stern talking to, I didn't yell at them but I did raise my voice and told them it was totally unacceptable and a very big waste! and that I hoped santa wasn't looking as he would be very upset. They were then sent to their room to think about what they had done.
Maddie was in tears as soon as my voice was raised, Bailee was in tears as soon as she got to her room and I left it. After a few minutes I went back up to see them, they were broken hearted, Maddie asked how come you don't love me anymore? I said I will and do always love you. Mabye if you say sorry you won't feel so bad. They both said sorry and bursted into tears again. I gave them a big cuddle and they dissolved into my arms saying I love you mummy. I felt bad, but I think I was right in disciplining them. Hard thing this parenting.
Maddie couldn't sleep, she kept coming down for approval for thing, she is a soft little soul.
