Physical Culture teams event

These are 8 of the 24 teams in the 9-10 year age group getting ready for presentations. Olivia had great fun and came second to the overall champions. The event was held at the Quayside sports centre at Olympic Park which was erected for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games. I hadn’t been to that venue before. I drove to Lithgow (1 hour) and caught a train ( 3.5 hours) and bus ( .5 hours) and walked the rest of the way. Same again tomorrow only in reverse. Olivia is competing in the next age group tomorrow as she loves it so much.

Tonight I’m staying in Sydney with the family.

In the 13-14 age group there were 44 teams of 8. The event goes for a couple of weekends to fit all the ages and grades in. Amazing skill for young people.
