Leaving Khujand

05.55 departure this morning which meant getting up at about 03.45. I don't think that Khujand airport sees many tourists even counting backpackers so commercially it's a minimalist ambience. A shop selling 3-in-1 coffee sachets that are so popular in the region. The toilets are squat format without doors. It's been like that forever. I've never asked why.
