THE GATE

Virtually everyday since 1927 an evening Service of Remembrance has been held at The Menin Gate to commemorate the names inscribed here. A most moving service where The East Yorkshire Choirs sang Sleep Sweet evermore and Morte Criste. Choir Members laid wreathes.
Main image shows The Menin Gate at Night . . . and the extra Named Not Shamed shows one tiny part of the Memorial Plaques, which detail the 55,000 soldiers involved in The Battles.
