Stretching of legs ...

So, I had an appointment in Glasgow on Friday, so on Thursday, I drove up, via Nottingham ( where I had lunch with a former colleague ). This, all in is about 7 hours in the car - so, as is sensible, every so often a break and a stretch. 

Most of the time it was a motorway service station - which is about as photogenic as - well a motorway service station ... Which is not at all. 

This however, was just a lay by on the A69 just as the sun was setting ( about 5:30pm ), which had some artistic possibilites !
