Not just bracken
Yet another dank and drizzly sort of day. There's a lovely stripey sunset though and I wish I could be bothered to walk up to McCaig's Tower where there would be a superb view. But I can't!
So my Blip today is another plant. I have it labelled as something completely different, but I think it's Polypodium vulgare 'Trichomanoides Backhouse', which is a big name for a small fern. It has four different frond types and I didn't realise that I'd brought a plant with me when I retired. Maybe I didn't and it's come from somewhere else. Whatever its origin I'm glad I have it. It's quite hardy and for those of you who think that all ferns are bracken, look again! Ha!
