Before the big chop

Our garden has turned into a jungle over the summer and autumn. I'll blame the huge quantities of rain, but my reluctance to roll up my sleeves and get out the secateurs probably has something to do with it.

We have a proper gardener coming round tomorrow to do a big tidy up, so I thought I'd capture one of the last hydangeas still in bloom before it gets its winter haircut.
