Chestnut roasting on an open fire

Today was busy but very enjoyable - Amanda and Mr T were coming up for the day - I had decided to do a roast -  so we had roast turkey and cranberry sauce, stuffing, roast potatoes, carrots, sprouts, broccoli and parsnips - followed with a Tesco Christmas Pudding for afters.I like to get well prepared before they come so as I am not in the kitchen the whole time and it all worked out fine.  WE had cold turkey and cheese etc for tea and they left about 6.30.  I had cleared all the lunch dishes and noe it was just the tea things to do.  
Now it was time for my blip and I had no idea what to do but I had been mulling over the idea of Chestnuts roasting on an open fire - well I only had one chestnut - didn't have an open fire so how silly is that to roast one chestnut on an imitation fire?  Thanks to Admirer for hosting the Silly Saturday Challenge
It was another beautiful day and we sat in the conservatory drinking coffee and watching the birds
