Vote!

Such a dark, dreich day!  We didn't expect to see a lot of people out for the walk in support of Proportional Representation, but quite a few of us did show up. There were more than are in the photos. It makes a whole lot of sense to try something other than the first-past-the-post system. If pro rep passes, we'll try it in the next 2 provincial elections then have another referendum to keep it or go back to what we have now. Fellow Glaswegian Tom led the walk, and that's him holding the sign.  Always great to see the Raging Grannies out supporting causes and singing the awesome songs they come up with.
G's on the left in the blue raincoat, holding my banged up umbrella.  We've been going to events like this for so many years.  I don't understand why people choose not to vote, although it is easy to be disillusioned by politics these days.  I really hope that there is a huge turnout of voters in the US next Tuesday.  Predictions are that there will be.
