Cute Coot babies

Feeding time for a very tiny coot chick.

Plus another image of Mumma Coot with her two babies, in Extras. 

BluePoppy and I visited the 'grebe lake' today, so see if we could find grebettes on their parents' backs. We did get lucky, but the light wasn't very good. I've put a grebe image into Extras - the babies look so sweet riding on their parents' backs.

Anyway, I loved the Coot chicks, which have the most unusual colouring.
