Such a perfect day

Such a beautiful day here; makes me all the more grateful in light of the misery being experienced elsewhere.

An hour's useful gardening; I love the smell of the damp earth and the wet leaves which were long overdue for the compost bin.

On to shop ... no food in the house after our weekend away. All the fruit & veg we wanted was inexpensive, part of Morrisons' £1.00 range.

To Boots for some photo frames and toiletries. Everything we wanted/needed was marked down to half price!

Good things coming in threes, a quick glance at Decathlon .... where Salomon hiking boots (I needed but had postponed buying til the January sales) were inexplicably marked down by 33%!

Home via Drumpellier Park where we had a brisk walk and went blip-crazy.This is the butler's choice, but I preferred the cloudscape

Back to a cosy house, with a Scandolit thriller to finish and The Killing III, episodes 3&4 to watch!

No wonder I looked this up on Youtube
