Poor purple toe

Leo’s toe got trampled at school in Friday - not great timing as Cully Rangers had a cup match on Saturday.

He decided to play and one of his mates helped out by doing most of the goal kicks for him. It was a full on game, ending 4-4 in normal time - with Cully equalising in the last minute with a free kick. And with no more goals in extra time, it was time for Leo to face his first penalty shout out.

It was best of three and Cully won the shootout 2-1 as the opposition missed one, scored one and then Leo saved the final one. Maybe the purple toe brought good luck!
