A DROPDAY AGAIN I THOUGHT
but the fly on the rose petals is after much deliberation the blipfoto.
In the morning the upholsterer came to put the floor-covering in Mischa's room. Upon Piet Hein's question (hearing his unknown accent) where he came from he answered that he was a Volga German. When he left there was a perfect floor, we were so glad because our DIY capacities on this area I think are zero. We had enough trouble to put the skirting board on four spots.
I still had time to see the Crested Tit pair diving for sunflower seads at a different place and they were not shy at all. The birds surprise me all the time.
The paperclipping I read today dated 1940 was written by G.Chr. Lichtenberg in the 18th century. It was titled: Consolationreasons for persons that unhappily were born on the 29th of february. I found a site on Google about it.
Why was I interested in this question? My 730th blip is coming up next week and I had noticed that some of my forebearers were a bit confused about the day on what day their milestone took place. Would it be the date of their beginnings (if posted every day a blip of course) or because of this year's extra day another one?
My haiku:
I did not go far
To marvel at the waterdrops
Sweet little mirrors
And the proverb:
Wit's whetstone is want.
