Neighbours

Stu called in this afternoon with a huge bar of CDM (chocolate if you don’t know what cdm means) yum . Carol is mowing the lawn making it look tidy...

We had a shock last night. Two fire engines arrived at the other next door neighbours house. Apparently there was smoke billowing out of the upstairs windows. All three of them were in and got out safe but when C went around to make sure they were all ok she said that Nick was black with smoke where he had tried to extinguish the flames. I dread to think what it’s like inside. Apparently Nick spent the night in A&E.

They are the one family in the road that doesn’t seem to care about their home. It’s always untidy with a collection of cars outside and an overgrown garden. I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t have any insurance either.....
