The Rutting Season has Started

This is Mr. Chamois, and Mrs Chamois, wearing her best Sunday shoes, is in the extra. I watched them flirting for a while before they took off into the forest for some privacy. What a great walk above Anzeindaz today, just those stripes of snow to make the terrain more interesting but without any danger of avalanches.

Thanks for all the enthusiasm for my favourite mountain (and my view) the Dents du Midi yesterday. It is such a privilege to look out of the window and watch the mountain changing allure every day.
