Banana trail

We've been to messy play today and enjoyed the delights of rubber ducks in shaving foam. It was actually quite fun for me too and if id known we'd both be smelling like daddy's shaving time for the rest of the day I might have thought twice before getting stuck in to that extent.

We've been to the city centre to look at their Xmas display. It was going to be my blip but I've decided to go again soon with my proper camera.

Managed to pick up some white tops for the girls stockings so we can reignite our love of home tie dyed outfits in jan. hehehe

Came home to my smashing friends wedding invite. They got together about the same time as J and I and we were both not bothered about getting hitched for a long time. 10 years later and we're both going to be wives before the year is out.

Today's banana trail blip represents the ongoing battle I have with the kids, their mess and their growing bodies. It's literally feed-cleanup-feed-repeat here at the moment. Although they are very tiny compared to their friends at school so maybe an extra spurt or two will be a good thing.

Very excited about J having a day off tomorrow to get some little bits done. We've reached crisis point with lack of time for each other and the family. Provided we get the last of the pictures on the wall, the bits in the loft, clear the bedroom, the other bits in the loft and find time for a hug I will be a happier lady. Actually sounds like quite a big ask once its written down. ... :-s

Left over stew for dinner tonight. Always tastes better on its second outing.
