Ian and I went to the Curzon Soho to see 'The Other Side of the Wind', an unfinished film by Orson Welles which has just been tucked up by Netflix.

Semi Autobiographical, It's a film about the torturous process of film-making. A spoof documentary where the crew pontificate, film each other making, chatter and argue. Whereas the male and female actors inside their project say nothing (in beautiful technicolour).

Hard to explain, Peter Bradshaw does it better in The Guardian. It's a film-making Emperors New Clothes.

A very nice Chinese lunch followed, with enough left over for the homeless guy in St Anne's Court.
