Cally woods

I made a flying visit to Galloway this weekend, as I had agreed to look after my granddaughter on Saturday evening. It also gave me an opportunity to bring across a large item that I had been holding for them.
This morning, my daughter and I took Ginny (lab) and Cally (Romi rescue) into Cally Woods, which are at Gatehouse of Fleet. Our nutter of a Romi did a disappearing act (again), having scented a roe deer. We did hear her yelp a couple of times, shortly before we saw the rather magnificent deer, so we think (and hope) she has been taught a lesson! She eventually made her way back to us, looking very out of breath, and rather subdued.
She's going to get limited to on-lead and harness work, when my daughter goes running, at this rate.
