Mourning Dove

All of a sudden this morning, when I put out the bird feeders - which, you may remember, haven't been out all summer because... bears - a whole bunch of birds showed up! It's good to see all my old pals again. 

Also this morning I heard, and then saw, my first white-throated sparrow of the season. They're back! Haven't seen a junco yet.
