....a Dhow Sunset
As a result of global distribution, I have not seen my brother and sister-in-law in nearly 2 years; so have taken advantage of the first opportunity to visit the Sandpit in a number of years. Today, DesertCamel and I went in pursuit of the perfect blip photo (she having convinced me over the last two days that blipping is the way to go). Our day was planned out perfectly; with a bit of re-orientation to the Sandpit, manicures, and then our favourite past-time together - sunset photography. I am not convinced that fresh manicures and rock climbing/clambering go together; but, when it comes down to it what is more important? Obviously the joy of seeing things from a new angle and trying for the perfect shot.
This photo is of the sunset behind a dhow boat - the fishermen refused to go out fishing, some excuse about the wind ... - so the boat became the frame for the sun and buildings in the background.
