Day off

The family went shopping today in Amsterdam. So I had the day off. Took my bike to enjoy the green meadows when I spotted this giant silver snake. It was twisting through the scenery like there was no tomorrow. Last week it was still a mile away. I had forgotten all about it. Well these snakes will eventually burrow themselves deep down in the ground and deliver their goods to a new suburb or factory. That' s Holland for you. We used to plow to grow food. Now we plow to accommodate suburbia.
