Rain below Catbells

It rained from the moment we awoke to well after dark today. By mid afternoon I tried driving along the east side of Derwentwater to try to find a solitary tree against the sky, but the rain was so heavy the trees were hardly visible. This seemingly colourful shot was taken in pouring rain by the side of the road, it looks much more pleasant than it was!
