Backblip - Sunday

We had a good time at the coast visiting family.  The days are always a tad too full, packed with an assortment of appointments and activities.  I absolutely love seeing and spending time with my kids and grandkids, but I do love coming home so much.
  
This delightful scene presented itself just after we arrived home before dark. In total there were 9 deer, enjoying an array of grasses in our backyard.  The image is a tad 'soft' looking as I took this through a dirty basement window and mesh screen.  They were so close and eating their fill that I didn't want to risk opening the door and scaring them away.  A peaceful homecoming.
