At Ease

One of the things Mom likes to do is look at photographs.  My Photobook from our USA trip arrived today so we spent an interesting hour or so looking at that.  Mom and Dad had a visit from the Carer Network lady today - her second visit looking at what support they can put in place to help Dad.  He surprised us by changing his ideas about what he would like - he says he wants to be able to go to choir practice, not the lunch club...  I hope he might be able to go to both.  I can't quite get my head round the fact that Mom's carer package (One visit a day) is funded, but if we need someone to come in to sit with Mom while Dad goes out, we have to pay for it.  Anyone got one experience of a similar situation?
