Bun Day

If you look very carefully you can see the buns being thrown from the church tower. Children are waiting below ready to run and scoop them up. They are supposed not to try and catch them as a bun falling from height onto your head could be dangerous! This is a village tradition, although in earlier times the buns were taken to the children at school - how boring!
