Travelling Cabinet

The last travelling Cabinet off the year took place in Penicuik today.

The Cabinet meeting itself was held in the new Roslin Innovation Centre and the public meeting took place at the community run Ladywood Leisure Centre .

Later I visited the Glencorse Centre in Auchendinny to hear about the food and growing project supported by the Scottish Government which is focusing on Brexit worries and how to understand and ameliorate them with practical actions.

The remarkable flower sculptures at the well used and very well organised Glencorse Centre came from Edinburgh Zoo I was told,. I couldn’t resist this shot of them but in addition the two extra pictures show the Roslin Innovation Centre and the gym at Ldywood , covered with motivating thoughts, where the Cabinet ( including Finance Secretary Derek MacKay) lined up ready to go on stage.
