The Many Adventures of Minny Blipper

As he came down the stairs from the photographic studio bursting to tell the news of his new job, he saw Marie standing, listening entranced to the Doctor from the hospital who had re-located Minny's arm.

She was holding out her hand to him, and Minny felt a sudden burst of - well, he didn't know quite what it was, but he didn't like it.  All he knew was that his girl was chatting, maybe even flirting, with a good looking dude from the hospital, who no doubt earned a trillion Lego dollars a year.

How could he compete?  Good grief, even the Mutt and Mini-Mutt were there, listening to the Doc.

Poor Minny, his heart sank down to his boots, just as Marie turned.  Ah Minny, there you are, she said.  Doctor Monty was just asking us how your arm was.  I was pretty sure you are OK.  Hey Minny, he wants to know if we can go out on a date with him and Marianne.

Minny's heart gave a great jump.  So the Doctor, whose name apparently was Dr. Monty, wanted to date Marianne!!  Whoopee!!! 

Minny was so excited: Sure he said.  Where'll we all go?

Well, guys (said Dr. Monty with what sounded like a fake American accent); there's this fantastic new Diner right down the end of the street.  How's about we go there?  It's not so up-scale as this end of town, the kid'll love it, and the dogs can get a drink from the dog bowl outside.

Turning right around Minny looked down the street, and saw .......
