Edinburgh Day 1: Castle View

Spent most of the day on the train: visiting LadyM. and JR in Edinburgh for a few days! They kindly met us at the station to disembarrass us of our bags, and Im and I then had a little evening explore (starting in the most obvious place) along and off the Royal Mile and the old town as the light and temperature dropped and the commuter bustle rose...
Obligatory cafe visit (Brew Lab is still excellent: the Guatemalan was rather surprising) to warm up before returning for a convivial evening in.
