Lavender harvest

I have two lavender plants and they did amazingly well this summer and I got three lots of flowering for each plant.  I've trimmed them down now for the winter and have a small tray of lavender drying to fill little pots and jars and to make lavender bags. 

This bouquet is half my latest harvest. You can see the small metal pot-pourri container that will be filled with fresh lavender.  So I shall have an aromatic reminder of summer all through the winter months!
