Inspired...

The Tower of London poppy installation of 4 years ago (is it really four years?) seems to have inspired many similar, but smaller tributes, in the form of poppy cascades.
This one is in the stair well at my local railway station, where I recently displayed some camera club photos on the theme of Remembrance.

When the plan for the cascade was first mentioned, I couldn’t picture how it would look, and at first thought the project might be a little too ambitious. Delighted to have been proved wrong as this, and many similar ones on Blip have demonstrated.
