Match Day

Coffee to start the day then Joshua and I caught the bus to Reading.
Breakfast in the ‘Bluegrass Grill’ consisted of the Texas Smoked Breakfast, I never realised until this morning that ‘Texas Toast’ is in fact fried bread!
The train from Reading to Twickenham was uneventful, seats all the way. Twickenham however is a different matter, from the moment you exit the station until you re-enter some five hours later the experience is designed to relieve you of as much money as possible:
Tickets - £50ea.
Programme - £6.
Beer - £5.70 + £1 Glass deposit
Burger - £12.
Hot Dog £11
Coffee - £4
Souvinier Shirt - £90
But the whole experience is great, Twickenham Stadium on international day is a great place to be.
We had really good seats, an uninterrupted view, England won, just, and we both left happy.
Train back to Reading with the journey half standing, half sitting. Bus to Caversham and then a final coffee before an early night.

A great day out.
